Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Waypost platform. By creating an account or using any part of our service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Waypost.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Waypost Ltd (“Waypost”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in England and Wales.
Waypost is an AI-powered business platform that enables users to create websites, manage contacts and customer relationships, run automated workflows, and access AI-assisted business guidance. The platform is designed for solo founders, coaches, and small business owners.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract to use Waypost. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of any business you represent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. Waypost will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep credentials secure.
You agree to use Waypost only for lawful purposes. You must not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe is in breach of these terms.
When you use Waypost, you provide us with business information, contact data, and content relating to your operations. You retain ownership of this data at all times. By using Waypost, you grant us a limited licence to process and store this data solely for the purposes of providing the service to you.
Waypost uses third-party AI technology — specifically the Claude API, provided by Anthropic, Inc. — to power its website generation, AI assistant, and automation features. When you interact with these features, the content of your requests and relevant context from your account (such as your business type and contact information) may be transmitted to Anthropic's API in order to generate a response.
Anthropic processes this data as a data processor acting on Waypost's behalf. Anthropic's API is operated under a no-training policy — data sent via the API is not used to train Anthropic's AI models.
We do not sell your business data to third parties.
If you use the People tab to manage contacts (clients, leads, customers), you are acting as a data controller for that personal data under UK GDPR. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis for processing your contacts' information and for providing them with appropriate privacy notices. Waypost acts as your data processor for this data.
We may use anonymised, aggregated, and non-personally identifiable data derived from platform usage to improve Waypost's product and services. This data cannot be used to identify you or your contacts.
Websites created using the Waypost platform are hosted by Waypost on your behalf. You are responsible for the content of your website, including ensuring it complies with all applicable laws.
You retain ownership of your website content. Waypost retains ownership of the platform code, templates, and infrastructure used to generate and host it.
If you cancel your subscription, your published website will be taken offline within 30 days unless you export your content beforehand.
Waypost is offered on subscription plans as described on our pricing page. Prices are listed in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider — Waypost does not store your card details.
Refunds are not provided for partial months. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days at support@waypost.co.uk.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Waypost uses artificial intelligence to generate website content, suggest automations, draft communications, and provide business guidance. You acknowledge that:
You should exercise your own judgement and seek professional advice where appropriate.
Waypost and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the platform, including its software, design, AI models, and documentation. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of Waypost's intellectual property to you.
You own the original content you create and upload to the platform. By using Waypost to generate website content, you receive a licence to use that output commercially, subject to any limitations imposed by our AI providers' terms of service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waypost shall not be liable for:
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total fees you paid to Waypost in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We aim to keep Waypost available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible.
You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@waypost.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason. On termination, you will lose access to the platform and your hosted websites will be taken offline. We recommend exporting your data before cancelling.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Waypost after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
