Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Waypost Ltd (“Waypost”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit waypost.co.uk or use the platform.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your session, preferences, and usage so features work correctly and we can understand how the service is being used.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

  • Authentication — session cookies set by Supabase Auth so you stay signed in between pages. Without these the platform cannot work.
  • Security — CSRF tokens and similar protections on form submissions.

Analytics (with consent)

  • Vercel Analytics — collects anonymous page-view counts and performance metrics. No personal data or cross-site tracking. We use this to understand which parts of the product are used and to spot broken pages.

Third-party services

  • Stripe — when you reach the checkout or billing portal, Stripe may set its own cookies to prevent fraud. These are controlled by Stripe under their Cookie Policy.

Published customer websites (sites you build with Waypost and deploy to your own subdomain or custom domain) do not set any Waypost cookies. If you add third-party scripts (chat widgets, analytics, etc.) to your own site, those are subject to the respective provider's cookie policy.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies, clear existing cookies, or be notified before a cookie is set. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to Waypost.

In the UK and EU, non-essential cookies (including analytics) are only set with your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR. If a consent banner has not appeared for you, it may be because your browser has sent a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal that we honour as a refusal.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
